MUSEUM NASIONAL
The Museum Nasional also known as Museum Gajah, Why is it called Museum Gajah? This is because the image of the elephant on the front of the museum. Elephant statues made of bronze is a gift from King Chulalongkorn of the Kingdom of Thailand (th 1871). In addition to the statue of the elephant, in the courtyard of the museum there are also several ancient cannon neat. The Museum Nasional is also often called Gedung Arca. That's because many collections of statues of various ages were in this building. Despite having a wide range of collections of statues, but there is one statue is so well-known here, the Arca Bhairawa. Arca height of more than 4 meters is so striking standing tall among other statues are smaller. National Museum open daily at 08.00 am - 16.00 pm except Mondays and national holidays / religious. Experience, I've never been to the national museum, I think the atmosphere in the national museum is quiet, spacious building, where also clean and tidy. Hope I hope the National Museum building is maintained, the collection grew, and more and more visitors.
